I’m still glowing with appreciation, love and gratitude after our women’s event on May 24th… Mind, Body, Spirit & Money! Amazing women from the community gathered at The Movement Spin Studio to bond, mingle and listen to motivational talks from some inspiring women in our community. Ali Trowbridge, owner of The Movement, spoke about Mind and mindset, and the power and impact that can have on our every day lives. Nicole Messner, Boudoir photographer and owner of Wise Photography, spoke about Body and body image, loving our bodies in all its shapes and sizes. I led the Spirit portion, talking about the role spirituality plays in my life and how others can incorporate it into theirs. We did I AM affirmation worksheets and I led us through a guided meditation, sound bowl, and all. We wrapped up the speaking portion with Money, where I, along with my Goldman Sachs partner Dori Hetrick, discussed the importance of keeping a positive mindset and relationship with money. At the end, we cranked up the music and enjoyed refreshments and some amazing food from Petals & Rind Catering. Everyone who attended had smiles on their faces and provided some really positive feedback. We can’t wait to do more events like this around this beautiful Ventura community!
